These 20-minute puppet shows in our Van Isle Theatre introduce significant events, people, and a glimpse into what life was like in the past. Shows are aimed at children ages 3 to 6, so expect lots of sing-alongs and audience participation, but all ages are welcome. Each performance is followed by a themed craft.

    Pack a picnic, grab your favourite teddy bear, and join us for a fun-filled afternoon at the beautiful Haig-Brown House! The Teddy Bear Picnic is an opportunity for families to enjoy music, lawn games, crafts, storytime, and a story walk in the stunning heritage setting of Haig-Brown House. Bring along a beloved stuffed animal and visit the popular Teddy Bear Repair Station, where volunteers will help mend well-loved teddy bears and other cherished plush friends.
