    Workshop Participants will have the opportunity to learn traditional cedar weaving with Gail Stollerk, Wei Wai Kai Nation.

    Born in Campbell River, Gail wasn’t allowed to learn her traditional teachings. In the spring of 2016 Gail started learning traditional cedar bark weaving. Always drawn to arts and crafts, she found peace and comfort in her creations. Since learning, she has mastered cedar baskets, cedar roses and cedar hats. She finds great pleasure in passing on the teachings she has received and showing others the beauty in creating from true traditional ways.
