Campbell River Golf Club at Naturally Pacific Resort

Just a short drive from downtown, the Campbell River Golf Club at Naturally Pacific Resort provides incredible views out toward the mountains of Strathcona Provincial Park from its 18-hole course. There’s also 8,000 square feet of putting green to practice on, while the Golf Academy is ready to help improve your skill level with private or semi-private lessons.

The Velocity Driving Range at Naturally Pacific Resort means there’s somewhere to head year-round to simply enjoy golfing (you can even virtually play other courses from around the world) or work on your technique. Come winter there are few places you can ski in the morning and golf in the afternoon on Vancouver Island.

Once you’ve finished your round, you don’t even have to leave the resort to enjoy some well-earned fare, whether you want to gather with friends for casual share plates (also available to order to your private bay) at Velocity or make an occasion of it with an elevated meal at Carve Kitchen + Meatery. Add a rejuvenating spa experience to your stay to make sure your muscles are ready to perform the perfect swing and utilize their partnerships with local tour operators to get out into the stunning natural wonders that surround Campbell River.

Storey Creek Golf Club

To the south of Campbell River, near the beachside communities of Shelter Point and Stories Beach is Storey Creek Golf Club. Nestled among vivid evergreen forests, it’s not unusual to see an eagle soaring overhead or fawns tucked into the long grass that edges the course in the spring as you move between holes. Waterways on and around the course are vibrant with salmon and trout, and there’s even a beaver pond.

The course is well-known specifically for its beautiful setting. Designed by one of Canada’s best-known golf architects, Les Furber, the 18-hole course intentionally provides golfers with challenging, but playable conditions. The site also has a full-length driving range, two chipping greens, two putting greens, and a practice bunker to work on your skills before heading out onto the course. Events throughout the year and dining options on-site at Creekside Grill add to the experience.
