Overlooking the shores of Upper Campbell Lake and a procession of snow-capped peaks, our 160-acre property consists of an eclectic collection of rooms in log and timber-framed chalets and waterfront cabins, hiking trails, ropes courses and zip lines, rock climbing bluffs, beaches and protected paddling bays.
The Lodge is perfectly situated to take advantage of all the outdoor adventures and nighttime stargazing you can handle. Fully equipped as a one-stop holiday, the Lodge is always a hive of activity. Come for an escape but expect plenty of excitement.
Our west coast styled restaurant (open April to October) offers meals at set times served at a buffet table. Our food focus is to provide fresh, healthy, energy-rich and local foods.
The Lodge is off the grid. The entire operation is powered by our own micro-hydro system, which means we’re highly sensitive to energy conservation. We also treat our own water and heat some of it with passive solar technology.
Located just outside of Strathcona Provincial Park, Strathcona Park Lodge is your gateway to beautiful views and adventure. Within a 40 minute drive there are excellent whitewater paddling opportunities, sport climbing, hiking trails, canoe circuits, sea kayaking destinations and mountain biking areas, and of course Campbell River itself. The Lodge itself has excellent swimming in the summer, hiking and running trails year-round and food and accommodation in a mountain paradise.
