Coastal Workshops is a wildlife photography and adventure company based on the rugged coast of British Columbia, created for people who want more than a quick look at nature, they want to experience it.

We specialize in small-group photography workshops and private photo tours that immerse you in some of the most dynamic ecosystems on the Pacific coast. From bald eagles in full feeding frenzies to whales, bears, seabirds, and dramatic coastal landscapes, our trips are built around being in the right place at the right time, with the flexibility to adapt to weather, light, and wildlife behavior.

All tours are led by photographer and filmmaker Stan Novotny and operated from a custom rigid-hull inflatable boat, allowing safe access to remote inlets, rapids, and coastal hotspots that most people never see.
